Is school choice possible in Minnesota? Absolutely!
Arizona, Arkansas, Utah, Florida, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, Georgia, New Hampshire, Tennessee, and even our neighbor to the south, Iowa, all have a form of school choice through Education Savings Accounts (ESAs).
Ever since COVID, parents had a glimpse behind the curtain of public education. They saw what was and was not taking place as their kids learned from home. They also saw the true colors of the teachers’ unions who made it clear to all that they are a union for teachers and not students or parents.
There’s no going back to the old ways now. Polling across the country reveals nearly a super-majority of voters favor school choice.
Those of course are national polls showing overwhelming support for school choice. But what about Minnesota?
Recent polling shows that 74% of voters in Minnesota favor school choice. That’s incredible!
Now it’s up to us to help make it a reality. School choice won’t happen by itself, we must work for it, but it is very, very possible.
