Tomorrow, November 15, OAK will share the stage with Center of the American Experiment and Minnesota Parents Alliance to discuss the future of Minnesota’s education system.
The Restoring Excellence education event will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Brookview Golf Club in Golden Valley and features three speakers followed by Q&A.
First up will be Cristine Trooien of Minnesota Parents Alliance who will share her insights and perspective on last week’s school board elections and what she sees for the parent movement going forward.
The second speaker will be Catrin Wigfall of Center of the American Experiment. Catrin will touch on academic performance, new education mandates, and how educators, parents, and community members can get involved to restore excellence.
OAK’s Devin Foley will be the last speaker. Devin will discuss the big picture, paradigm shift of school choice and why OAK believes it’s the best policy for Minnesota families.
Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of the state’s E-12 system, ways they can get involved to restore excellence, and helpful resources to navigate the changing education landscape.
We can’t wait to see you!
